About WonderBit

We are software developers who have been creating software for the last several years, but most importantly, we are parents. Our children see mom and dad use the computer everyday and are just getting to the age where they want to go online and explore. We believe the web can be an exciting and adventurous place for inquisitive young minds, but also must be measured with a dose of reality and vigilance to keep kids safe while surfing the web. This project was born out of a necessity to create a safe and fun browser for our own kids and we know your children will enjoy using it too.

We have spent many hours in beta testing with kids, their parents and teachers in order to better understand their needs. As parents and educators, we recognize that time spent using the computer or internet should yield some value beyond distraction. Teaching kids computer basics at an early age gives them the confidence they need to master more complex computing tasks and sets the stage for success in a real-world where computers have become part of everyday life and work and the computer can be an integral tool in teaching other necessities just as reading, spelling, math and sciences, and to open a child's mind to the world around him.
